Description
The Basic Info regarding 18650 Type battery Cells:
The 18650 Type battery cells are the most common type of battery cells used in electronic cigarette MODs. They are also used in many other electronic devices such as video doorbells and high performance torches etc.
In the case of an 18650 battery cell…The 1st 2 numbers represent the diameter ( approx: 18mm), the next 2 represent the length (approx 65mm) and the ‘0’ represents it is rechargeable…hence the 18650. The mAh represents (in simple terms) how long the battery can work before requiring a recharge. eg: An 18650 battery cell with a 2900 mAh capacity will last longer than an 18650 battery cell with a 2500 mAh capacity ( but will still be the same size eg: 18650).
Please note that a 21700 battery cell is physically larger than an 18650 battery cell (as explained above in bold). Please take the time to insure you are ordering the correct size battery cell by measuring your current battery cell and purchase accordingly. You will also see this information written on the actual battery cell.
1st: Battery Storage / Safety
NEVER leave your battery where it is subjected to extremes in temperatures. This includes low levels as well as high.
DO NOT leave your batteries where they are in direct sunlight or in an enclosed space, such as a car, that can become extremely hot very rapidly.NEVER carry batteries in your pockets or in a bag where it is surrounded or in close contact with metal objects such as coins or keys.Only ever store or transport your battery in a non-conductive container.
Battery Cell Carry cases / Holders can be found in Accessories Silicon Sleeves / Cases.
Genuine Samsung INR 18650 25R Battery Cell: ( lithium iron phosphate cylindrical cell) (“LiNiMnCoO2” or “NMC”)
The Samsung 25R (green) is one of Samsung’s newest cells and is a direct successor to the blue 25R2 (blue) that so many people know and love. The electrolyte balance was tweaked giving this cell an excellent upgrade. Samsung has promised the 25R does not have improved performance over the 25R2, but has a long cycle life instead (can last more than 250 charge cycles).

Aspire 18650 battery cell (20A 2600 mAh)
Aspire 18650 3.7V 2600mAh rechargeable battery cells is made for normal discharge current(max. 20A) applications. High capacity(2600mAh) provide vapers much longer run time than any standard ICR battery. It is an excellent choice for people who are looking for normal drain ICR 18650 battery cells.
SPECIFICATION:
- ICR 18650 3.7V Li-ion
- Pulsed discharge:40A
- Continuous Discharge:20A
- Capacity: 2600mah
- Size: 18650 (18mm diameter x 65mm long)
Aspire’s new safe vaping chart shows Aspire’s battery testing for continuous discharge and also for vaping periods of 10secs then resting battery for 5 seconds. Our safety chart recommends discharge conditions that result in the battery temperature reaches 70 degrees Celsius or less. Continuously discharging your battery for several minutes without resting it will result in higher temperatures and Aspire does not recommend continuous discharge of the Aspire 2600 while it is in vaping devices.

Aspire Battery Safety
Battery safety is very important. Mistreated batteries can get extremely hot and/or vent which may cause injury. Always follow the following rules to make sure this doesn’t happen. We are not liable for misuse of or for mistreated batteries.
A – Do not use batteries if the wrapper is in any way torn or otherwise damaged (this includes even tiny little nicks or tears in the wrapper in ANY part of the battery)
B – Never keep batteries loose in a purse or pocket etc, any contact with any other metallic object such as keys or coins may cause a short circuit and be very dangerous. Always use protective cases for loose batteries.
C – Never expose batteries to extremes of temperature.
Further cautionary advice
*Never completely discharge batteries (below 2.5V under load or 3V unloaded).
*Charge fully (to 4.2V) before first use.
*Never use force to install the battery.
*Use only high quality battery chargers.
*Do not connect the positive contact to the negative contact without an appropriate load.
*Be mindful of the current limits in the specifications of the battery and never exceed them.
*Never charge battery 4.3V or above.
*Do not leave unattended while charging.
*Do not store your Li-ion batteries fully charged for an extended period of time (weeks or more)
*If you must store battery then do it in a case or individual box in cool and dry place at approximately 3.6V – 3.7V.
*Never try to charge or discharge Li-ion batteries with battery chargers that are not specifically made for Li-ion batteries.
AFTERCARE GUIDE
Take care and familiarize yourself with handling Li-ion Lithium Batteries before use
For extending battery life, keep at room temperature (20C – 25C)
Avoid completely discharging, partial discharge is recommended
Do not reverse polarity, short circuit or tamper with batteries
Never leave batteries unattended and avoid overcharging
Dispose batteries correctly in approved locations
Batteries are at the most risk while charging so its extremely important to buy a good quality charger.
